Every blockbuster run has a moment where the math stops working in its favor. For “Spider-Man: Brand New Day,” that moment just arrived — a steep 55% weekend-on-weekend drop means the film’s once-realistic shot at Rs. 600 crore gross is no longer happening.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day: The Numbers So Far
The film added Rs. 5 crore on its 4th Sunday, closing the fourth weekend at Rs. 11.50 crore — a sharp fall from the previous weekend’s pace. Its total India cume now stands at Rs. 569.25 crore gross (Rs. 470.15 crore nett), or Rs. 626.25 crore including 3D collections.
| Period | Nett | Gross | Gross (incl. 3D) |

| Week Three | Rs. 30.50 cr | Rs. 36.75 cr | Rs. 41.50 cr |

Why Rs 600 Crore Won’t Happen

The film is projected to close this week around Rs. 20 crore, pushing the cume to roughly Rs. 580 crore. With Toxic taking over screens next weekend, trade now expects the film’s full theatrical run to close just under the Rs. 600 crore gross mark rather than crossing it.
The Records It’s Still Claiming
Despite falling short of that milestone, “Brand New Day” has already secured status as an All-Time Blockbuster — a club that includes roughly seven other films since Jurassic Park in 1994, such as Titanic, Avatar, The Jungle Book, and both Avengers: Infinity War and Endgame. The film could also cross 2 crore footfalls, a mark only Titanic and Avengers: Endgame have hit in India, and it’s currently the third most-watched Hollywood film in the country with around 1.9 crore admissions.
