Sometimes the best shows are born out of a punishment gone right. Lee Eun Ji, Mimi, Lee Young Ji, and An Yu Jin are reuniting for tvN’s brand-new variety spin-off “Space Rice Cake” — and the first teaser is already delivering exactly the kind of chaotic charm fans were hoping for.
How Did This Show Even Happen?
“Space Rice Cake” is a spin-off born from a punishment in “Earth Arcade 2.” After failing an escape room mission prepared by Torong, the four members had to work together at a rice cake shop as their consequence What started as a game penalty has now turned into a full variety show of its own.
The newly released poster shows the four members having just opened “Space Rice Cake” in Goheung, featuring the slogan “Freshly made rice cakes for sale!” alongside an image of chewy garaetteok and a retro-inspired design that creates a warm, nostalgic atmosphere. The accompanying tagline jokes that the shop may be full of burnout, but the members will do their best to make sure customers’ taste buds aren’t affected — teasing plenty of chaotic, first-time-employee energy ahead.
