Friday (Sun NXT) — The Tamil revenge thriller Friday originally released in theatres on November 28, 2025, and now arrives on Sun NXT. Gripping, dark, and cathartic — exactly what the genre promises.

Bhartha Mahasayulaku Wignyapthi / BMW (ZEE5) — Directed by Kishore Tirumala and starring Ravi Teja, this Telugu romantic comedy revolves around the humorous chaos of modern relationships and marriage dynamics. Fun, relatable, and entertaining family watch.

Pennum Porattam (Netflix) — This Tamil film tells the story of a young woman and her pet dog who become victims of village gossip that spirals into mob outrage, exploring misinformation and social judgment. Thought-provoking and timely — highly recommended.

Landlord (ZEE5) — Set in rural Karnataka in the 1980s, this Kannada action drama stars Duniya Vijay and Raj B Shetty as it follows Rachayya, an idealistic labourer who rises against a feudal oppressor after personal tragedy. Raw, powerful, and rooted in social reality.

Naangal (ETV Win) — Set in 1990s Ooty, this Tamil family drama follows three brothers shaped by a strict, emotionally volatile father — exploring toxic parenting, childhood trauma and sibling bonds with emotional depth.

Nawab Cafe (ETV Win) — A Telugu film set in Hyderabad’s Old City, where a young graduate’s plan to sell his family’s centuries-old tea shop to move abroad collides with his father’s attachment to tradition and heritage. Heartwarming and quietly powerful.
