The Upcoming Sony Xperia 1 VI

The rumor mill also suggests that the Sony Xperia 1 VI will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC and feature an OLED display with a variable refresh rate. The 16 mm ultrawide sensor in the triple rear camera configuration is likely, and Sony may change its camera offerings for this specific model. The published report from MSPoweruser appears to be illustrative.

According to alleged leaks, it would feature a new and improved OLED screen 1.5 times over Xperia 1 V, and the device could have a screen aspect ratio of 19.5:9; it will also have a variable refresh rate from 1Hz to 120Hz featuring sunlight vision mode, Bravia HDR remaster technology. The device will run on a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. It may also have been compromised as they have added improvements in heat production, which is a counter-excessive heating sensor.

In addition to an improved processor, the optics are expected to be a triple camera, comprising an ultra-wide-angle 16mm lens, a wide-angle 24mm lens, which can be extended to 48mm with 2x optical, and an 85-170mm telephoto zoom lens with up to 7X zoom. The 24mm lens might feature Sony’s “Exmor T for mobile” stacked CMOS image sensor. It is also speculated that Sony will merge its Photography Pro, Videography Pro, and Cinema Pro apps into a single app inspired by its Alpha series cameras.

The battery of the Sony Xperia 1 VI will be 5,000mAh which supports wireless charging and reverse wireless charging. The battery will support up to two days of usage on a single charge and a four-year-long life. Gamers may use a 240Hz touch sampling on the phone; users may also adjust white balance, low gamma raiser, and an FPS optimizer.

The high-performance Xperia 1 VI will feature a new high-performance audio chip; the audio system will support Hi-Res audio, Hi-Res Audio wireless, 360 Reality audio, LDAC, DSEE Ultimate, and a 3.5mm jack. Reportedly, buyers of the Xperia 1 VI might receive one year of free Sony Pictures movie streaming in select regions, with access to up to five Sony movie titles remastered with IMAX video and DTS sound.
