Skullcandy has announced its latest addition in the Crusher series. Its Crusher has been using haptics in order to create “an ultra-realistic sensory bass experience” since its launch in 2013.

But Skullcandy claims that its latest Crusher Evo performs even amazing than its predecessors. Offering “more multi-dimensional haptic vibration patterns” Crusher Evo is said to offer a wider range of bass frequencies.

The latest feature, “personal sound” from Audiodo, included in Crusher Evo, lets the users take a quiz in its companion app, which determines their audio preferences and set it accordingly.

Software libraries are built into the Bluetooth chipset of the headphones. Through refined code and polished algorithms, audio is customized perfectly to suit the unique characteristics of the user.

The software performs calibration of users hearing, calculates it and relays the information to headphones.

Promising a 40 hours battery life with rapid charging technology, Skullcandy claims the Crusher Evo improves the audio quality over the original Crusher and offers deeper and richer bass.

Controls include calls, change tracks, volume adjust and voice assistant. They have fold flat feature to offer easy storage.

Crusher Evo comes in matte black or matte grey and will appeal to every fan of the Skullcandy’s Crusher line-up. They offer the same identical look boasted in Crusher ANC. Sporting a deeply cushioned synthetic leather earcups, and a folding design, Crusher Evo is a sight to behold.

Though, the Crusher EVO doesn’t boast an active noise cancellation, they still come at an affordable cost of $200.

Weighing around 11 ounces, the Crusher Evo can be termed as a bit heavy among the Crusher series. But, owing to the amazing and long battery life that it boasts, the weight is to be expected. However, Skullcandy claims it to be comfortable to use owing to its design.

Skullcandy’s latest Crusher Evo offers an unholy amount of Bass and a personalization feature which is nothing to joke about. The release of this beast of headphones will appeal to every bass lover out there who likes to let loose their feeling while jamming.
