Launch of new Multi-Platform Gaming Headphones from Skullcandy

Skullcandy, an American producer of audio devices, is renowned for its offerings for music enthusiasts.

A new set of gaming headphones from the company has just been released, and they have simple and practical features like memory foam ear cushions, internal tactile controls, and detachable boom microphones. The SLYR, SLYR Pro, and PLYR headphones make up the current portfolio.

Skullcandy SLYR Specifications

The entry-level device in the collection is the Skullcandy SLYR Multi-Platform wired gaming headset. It comes with a bi-directional retractable boom microphone for chatting with your buddies or conversing in-game and uses Skullcandy’s Supreme Sound technology for “superior in-game audio depth.”

Skullcandy SLYR Pro Specifications

Along with all the comfort characteristics of the SLYR Skullcandy headphones, the SLYR Pro model comes with a multi-platform wired headset. It has these features as well as some new ones, such as Skullcandy’s more sophisticated audio processing technology. Included in this are Skullcandy’s Clear Voice Smart Mic and Enhanced Sound Perception, which alter audio levels based on a hearing test and your preferences.

The former uses artificial intelligence to block out annoying background noises like keyboard clicks. The internal battery that powers these devices has 24-hour autonomy on a single charge.

Skullcandy PLYR Specifications

The Skullcandy PLYR is the most costly headset in the collection. Thanks to Bluetooth 5.2 technology, you can use this gaming headset in both wired and wireless modes, staying connected to your home computer while playing games or listening to music on the move. The same audio processing tools that you can use with the SLYR Pro are available here. In the event that you ever lose them, you can “ring” the headsets using the Tile app because the PLYR and SLYR Pro both have incorporated Tile Finding technology.

Skullcandy Latest Headphones Pricing and Availability

The price of SLYR headsets starts at $59.99, with three different colour options: Black DigiHype, Green DigiHype, and Blue DigiHype. However, the SLYR Pro costs $99.99 and is available in the same hues as the standard model. The top-tier PLYR Wireless Gaming Headset, which retails for $129.99, is exclusively available in black.

The base model is already up for pre-order on Amazon and the Skullcandy website, but the other two models won’t be available until October.
