Director AR Murugadoss on Working with Salman Khan

Renowned for directing blockbusters like Ghajini, Thuppakki, and Holiday: A Soldier Is Never Off Duty, AR Murugadoss brings his expertise to Sikandar, delivering a film packed with intense action and gripping drama.

Sharing insights on working with Salman Khan, the director said in an interview with PTI, “When you are working with superstars, you cannot be 100 per cent true to the script. We’ve to compromise for the audience, for the fan base, for the opening. We cannot go with being 100 per cent genuine as a director. We’ve to satisfy the fans and think about them. It is difficult to be in that zone.”

This statement reflects the challenges of balancing creative storytelling with audience expectations, especially when directing a film featuring a megastar like Khan.
