Shark Tank India Season 6 Registrations Are Now Live on Sony LIV

Got a business idea burning a hole in your notebook? Shark Tank India just opened the doors to Season 6, and this time the show wants founders who can back their dreams with real grit, not just a good pitch deck.

A Campaign Built on Hard Truths

Sony LIV kicked off the new season with a campaign called “Dreaming is Easy, Building is Hard,” and the title says it all. Rather than glamourising overnight success, the official Shark Tank India registration page frames entrepreneurship as a grind of resilience, sacrifice, and execution, the stuff that never makes it to a highlight reel.

Over five seasons, the show has quietly become one of India’s biggest entrepreneurship platforms, turning founders into household names and giving startups a shot at serious capital. Season 6 is co-powered by Lahori Zeera and L’Oréal Paris, with White Gold and Lal Sweets on board as partners, and registrations are open exclusively through the Sony LIV app.

Shark Tank India Season 6: Quick Facts

Why This Matters for India’s Startup Scene

What makes Shark Tank India worth watching isn’t just the drama of a shark saying yes or no. It’s the peek behind the curtain: the pricing mistakes, the pivot stories, the founders who nearly gave up. For India’s growing base of first-generation entrepreneurs, that’s often more useful than any business school case study.

The show is also a mirror of how India’s OTT and streaming landscape keeps using reality formats to blur the line between entertainment and inspiration. If you’ve been following how platforms are shaping viewer habits this year, our coverage of Netflix’s platform lead in the latest OTT viewership numbers and the FIFA World Cup 2026 streaming surge on ZEE5 shows just how competitive India’s streaming wars have become.

For founders eyeing this season, the ask is simple: know your numbers, know your customer, and be ready to defend both under pressure. Whether you’re a first-time founder or already scaling, the Tank isn’t looking for a good story. It’s looking for a business that can survive without one.

The Takeaway

Registrations for Shark Tank India Season 6 are live now, exclusively on Sony LIV. If you’ve got a business worth building, this might be your window, but only if you’re ready to do the hard part first.
