ShareChat and Moj, components of the Mohalla Tech ecosystem, have announced a collaboration with Level Infinite (https://www.levelinfinite.com/), Tencent’s global games brand, to launch “THE MISFITS.” This initiative marks India’s first bespoke gaming micro-drama, featuring popular gaming creator Techno Gamerz, who commands a community of over 50 million subscribers.

The micro-drama is designed to coincide with the launch of *Gangstar Mirage City*, an upcoming title. “THE MISFITS” aims to integrate gaming, creator fandom, and scripted entertainment by setting its narrative directly within the game’s universe, rather than merely promoting it. This approach seeks to provide an immersive entertainment experience led by a prominent Indian gaming personality.

Set within the world of *Gangstar Mirage City*, the series will depict the journey of a university freshman who establishes a secret society of outsiders through anonymous digital broadcasts. The series is scheduled to stream on ShareChat and Moj, representing a convergence of a global gaming entity, a cultural figure, and India’s developing micro-drama format.

Neha Markanda, Chief Business Officer at ShareChat and Moj, commented on the strategic importance of the collaboration. “Micro-dramas are rapidly emerging as a significant entertainment format in India, influencing how audiences engage with episodic storytelling,” Markanda stated. She added that “THE MISFITS” exemplifies ShareChat and Moj’s vision to integrate gaming, creators, and brands within innovative storytelling, recognizing the increasing demand for authentic brand engagement.

Sidharth Arora, IN Country Manager for Level Infinite, highlighted the alignment of the micro-drama with the game’s design philosophy. “Gangstar Mirage City was developed with immersive storytelling at its core,” Arora explained. He noted that partnering with ShareChat, Moj, and Techno Gamerz allowed for the introduction of the game through an original narrative that unfolds organically within its world, offering a distinct alternative to conventional game trailers.

The partnership also underscores the growth of both gaming and micro-dramas within India’s digital entertainment sector. The ShareChat ecosystem reportedly reaches over 60 million monthly active users and registers approximately 900 million daily episode plays, positioning it as a significant platform for creator-led serialized content. Ahead of the series premiere, pre-registrations for *Gangstar Mirage City* are available on Google Playstore until August 20, 2026, offering early access and exclusive in-game rewards to interested players. This collaboration positions “THE MISFITS” as an example of how original narratives can transform traditional game launches into more integrated cultural experiences.
