Seo Kang Jun & Ahn Eun Jin’s New Drama Is the Love Story We’ve All Been Afraid Of

Not every romance drama begins with a first meeting. Another Love But You begins ten years in — and that’s exactly what makes it so terrifyingly real. Seo Kang Jun and Ahn Eun Jin have officially been confirmed as the leads of one of the most anticipated K-dramas of the second half of 2026, and the premise alone is already hitting way too close to home.

What Is Another Love But You About?

Another Love But You is a realistic romance drama that tells the story of a couple entering their 10th year of dating who experience unexpected emotional changes within a relationship that once felt familiar. The two fill the space left by fading passion with loyalty and trust as they struggle between breaking up and getting married, ultimately reconsidering the true nature of love. IMDb

This isn’t a love story about falling in love for the first time. It’s about what happens after — the harder, quieter, more honest question of whether familiarity is a foundation or a trap.

The Characters — Two People at Their Most Vulnerable

Seo Kang Jun plays Namgoong Ho, an assistant manager on the TF team at Hoonmin Confectionery. Namgoong Ho has a warm personality, combining sociability and humor that allow him to quickly grow close to anyone. On the surface he appears cheerful and stable, but he has lived a difficult life since childhood because of his troublemaking mother. Each time he struggled, the person who cried beside him even more sorrowfully than he did was his girlfriend Lee Mi Do. IMDb

Ahn Eun Jin plays film director Lee Mi Do. Once a promising new director who drew global attention with her university graduation project, Lee Mi Do gradually lost confidence as her subsequent projects repeatedly fell through, leaving her now at rock bottom. IMDb

Two people who have held each other up through everything — now standing at the edge of their own relationship. The emotional stakes couldn’t be higher.

Why This Casting Is Perfect

The production team explained their confidence in the pairing, noting that Seo Kang Jun and Ahn Eun Jin have the ability to sincerely convey their characters’ emotions and naturally draw viewers into the story. IMDb Ahn Eun Jin is coming off her acclaimed performance in My Dearest, while Seo Kang Jun recently charmed audiences in Undercover High School — making this arguably the most emotionally loaded pairing of 2026.
