Sennheiser, the German audio pioneer renowned for its enthusiast-grade consumer audio products is now officially a part of the Sonova Holdings AG Group. This announcement came at the Sennheiser Consumer Innovation press event where the new owner of the brand will be made public.
The change in ownership is not likely to affect the branding or products of the brand but Sonova Holdings AG Group will now be using the Sennheiser branding for its future products.
If you were not aware, Sonova Holding AG Group is a Swiss multinational company headquartered in Stäfa and it specializes in hearing care solutions. It is one of the biggest providers in the sector worldwide.
The group operates via its core business brands such as Phonak, Unitron, Hansaton, Advanced Bionics, and AudioNova.

Premium headphones, audiophiles, enhanced hearing, and soundbars will be the four key product segments for this new venture. Sonova Consumer Hearing has announced that the company is looking to launch new products in all four of its categories in 2022, including new products in its flagship MOMENTUM range.
The Swiss hearing care solutions company also looks to leverage Sennheiser’s expertise in the TWS segment, as it believes that technology behind true wireless headphones and hearing aids is also converging to create a rapidly growing enhanced hearing segment.
