Grand Prince Ian (Byeon Woo Seok) has the opposite problem. As the second son of the king, he holds a royal title but virtually no power, no voice in the palace, and no real place in the succession. He has everything by name and nothing by reality.

When they cross paths at the Imperial Birthday Banquet, a contract marriage becomes the most logical solution to both their problems — she gains royal status, he gains an ally. What neither of them bargained for was what would happen after the contract was signed.
