Fifteen years is a long time to build a home under one roof. For actor Go Soo, that chapter has just closed. On September 15, his longtime agency BH Entertainment confirmed the two sides are officially parting ways — and doing it on good terms.

For fans who’ve watched his career grow under the agency since 2017’s contract renewal, the news marks the end of an era, even if it comes without any drama attached.

Go Soo: The Announcement

BH Entertainment stated that Go Soo had been with the agency for roughly 15 years, dating back to when he renewed his exclusive contract in 2017. After what the agency described as thorough discussions, both sides decided to part ways amicably, with each supporting the other’s future path.

The agency also added a warm note, saying it fully supports Go Soo’s new beginning and will continue to root for whatever projects he pursues next as an actor.

What’s Next for Go Soo?

The timing isn’t random — Go Soo is currently gearing up for his upcoming SBS drama “Nine to Six,” set to air later this year. The agency split doesn’t appear to affect that release, and industry watchers expect the actor to announce a new agency once he settles into this transition.

Talent agency changes are common in the South Korean entertainment industry, where actors frequently move between companies as their careers evolve, often timed around major project releases.
