  1. Can you discuss the evolution of touchscreen display solutions and their impact on various industries?

The touchscreen monitor industry has evolved over the years; the monitors come with much more enhanced technology as compared to earlier when we had limited options. Resistive, optical, projected capacitive, and infrared are four of the most advanced touchscreen technologies that have led the market. Each has different applications and can support business in a meaningful way. Touchscreen display like fingerprint sensors and foldable display are pushing the boundary of touchscreen innovation.

  1. How do you see the gaming industry evolving in India, and what opportunities do you foresee in this sector?

The Indian gaming market is poised for remarkable growth and is projected to reach $5 billion by 2025, with a robust Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) of 28-30%. This expansion is paralleled by a substantial increase in the number of gamers within the nation, surging to 450 million in 2023 and expected to reach 500 million by 2025. In this burgeoning industry, ViewSonic plays a pivotal role by addressing the specific needs of gamers through its extensive lineup of high-quality gaming monitors. We provide a unique combination of technology and features at every price range to cater to our diverse customer portfolio.

  1. Can you elaborate on ViewSonic’s ONE CABLE SOLUTION and how it addresses connectivity needs for users?

Since ViewSonic currently dominates the global market for display technology, we have taken a few initiatives and utilised new techniques that the brand will use for the following five years to lead the industry.

ViewSonic display solutions offer a single cable solution for chargeback and cluster-free work or home space. We as a brand have made an effort to enter the market with portable monitors at reasonable rates which are ideal for individuals on the go and catering to their various needs. We believe, more touchscreen market has a huge potential and there is a scope of innovation if the touchscreen industry is strengthened further.

USB Type-C is gradually becoming the universal standard and a growing number of devices, including the various post-2015 versions of the Apple MacBook Air and MacBook Pro, only include USB-C ports. This makes USB Type-C monitors a safe long-term purchase because major companies like Apple investing so heavily in their continued use means the technology is likely to be supported for a long time to come.

One of the biggest advantages stems from the fact that USB-C technology can be used for digital audio, digital video, data transfers, and power. In most cases, this will remove the need for additional cables, resulting in a neat setup, which is easy to understand and maintain. This is in stark contrast to many other monitor types, which may use two, three, or even four different cables at once. 

  1. How has the monitor business experienced exponential growth, and what strategies has ViewSonic employed to disrupt channel policy, marketing, and product launches across different categories?

We have recently revamped our channel policy, taking a more comprehensive approach. Our introduction of RID (Regional Importer and Distributor) in seven distinct regions, alongside our National Distributor (ND), has been instrumental in this transformation. We boast a robust network of over 7,000 tier-3 partners and are committed to further expanding our reach.

We ensure a deeper engagement with our partners and end users, we regularly organize events such as dealer meets and exhibitions. These initiatives enable us to stay closely connected with our stakeholders and better understand their evolving needs.

This extensive range allows us to cater to customers’ unique demands and preferences across various categories, reinforcing our commitment to delivering exceptional display solutions.

India is experiencing a significant digital transformation, with heavy online transactions surging. As a result, we can anticipate a steady 15-20% Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) in the PC business from 2023 to 2030. ViewSonic has ambitious plans to establish manufacturing facilities in India to fortify our brand’s position in this evolving market. 

Recognizing the immense potential in business-to-business transactions, we have meticulously planned our distribution and staffing capacities. This strategic foresight aligns with the burgeoning commercial sector, marked by the explosive growth of startups. Moreover, the evolving education landscape, driven by the digitalization of learning through audio-visual methods, has opened up significant opportunities in the display market. ViewSonic is poised to capitalize on these transformative trends. 

Furthermore, ViewSonic has a state-of-the-art channel relationship (ViewSonic partner portal) where they set up Service infrastructure with more than 235 service centres catering to approximately 20572 pin codes across India. Additionally, to get deep penetration in the market the brand introduced 7 new RIDs with currently 7200 partners on board.
