Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 India Launch Nears, Spotted on BIS

Samsung is likely gearing up to unveil its next-generation foldable phones at a rumored Unpacked event in July, with the Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Galaxy Z Fold 7 expected to be part of the lineup. The Galaxy Z Flip 7 was found listed on the BIS certification website as well, suggesting that the device’s India launch is imminent. Moreover, sightings in both 3C and UL Demko certifications have fueled speculations over its imminent launch.

While the overall design of the upcoming foldable is expected to remain consistent with its predecessor, some hardware upgrades are reportedly in the works. The device could debut as a high-end foldable that will be priced around ₹1.1 lakh.

According to BIS certification, which was seen by 91mobiles, the model number of the phone appears to be SM-F766B. The certification does not list any additional key specifications, however, it is one of the mandatory certification passes for any electronic device to get launched in the Indian market.

The Galaxy Z Flip 7 is set to succeed the Flip 6 and may come with a larger edge-to-edge cover screen, improving on the previous model’s 3.6-inch secondary display.

One of the most significant changes might be under the hood—the Galaxy Z Flip 7 is rumored to run on the Exynos 2500 chipset, marking a shift from the Snapdragon processors seen in earlier versions. It’s also tipped to be the first-ever foldable coming from Samsung with the latest version of One UI 8 pre-installed.

Powering the device could be a slightly larger 4,174mAh battery, with 25W fast charging support, similar to its predecessor. The pricing is expected to remain close to the Flip 6, which launched at ₹1,09,999. With better hardware and integration with the Samsung ecosystem, the Z Flip 7 could be the foldable phone worth holding out for. The launch is expected in early July, possibly on July 4th in New York.
