Although IP67 water & dust protection has not yet been a feature of Samsung’s flagship tabs, that may improve in 2023. Samsung has confirmed that the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 series, Samsung’s future flagship tablet, will feature an IP67 certification for water resistance.
This is what Samsung’s high-end tab users have been waiting for a long time. It symbolizes an advancement in the premium Samsung Galaxy Tab series from Samsung.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 – All we know so Far
Samsung had previously sold many “Active” tabs with water resistance, but its high-end tablets don’t have this feature. It seemed strange that the Galaxy Tab S8 series was not water-resistant when Samsung’s foldable is water-resistant.
Indeed, there is no deficiency of potential. Tabs could undoubtedly be waterproof if a sophisticated device like a foldable one could. In almost any event, it is encouraging to know that Samsung is exploring IP67 water resistance properties for the Galaxy Tab S9 series.
Presently, it’s doubtful if this will occur.
