Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 series has been the talk of the town for several days. If rumors are to be believed, the Galaxy Tab S8 series will include the Galaxy Tab S8, Galaxy Tab S8+, and the Galaxy S8 Ultra models. Several rumors and leaks have already revealed the possible features and price of the upcoming Samsung tablets. Now, the latest development shows the render of the standard Galaxy Tab S8, along with the specs of Galaxy Tab S8 and Tab S8 Ultra. The latest development comes to light by popular leakster Steve Hemmerstoffer (@OnLeaks) who has joined Zouton to bring the renders of the upcoming Galaxy Tab S8 tablet.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 details
The tablet will have slightly thick bezels around the display. It has the front camera on the right bezel when held vertically. Holding the tablet horizontally during video calls will offer more screen estate while the user looks directly into the camera. OnLeaks claims that the tablet will sport an 11-inch IPS LCD with a 1600 x 2560 resolution. The display will have 120Hz refresh rate support as well.
The tablet will run the flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage which will also support additional storage expansion of up to 1TB. On the software front, it is listed to come with Samsung One UI and pack an 8,000 mAh battery with 45W fast charging support. The tablet will have a layer of Samsung’s One UI skin on top of Android. It will weigh 504 grams and be 6.24mm thick.
For cameras, there will be a dual rear camera system consisting of a 13MP main lens and a 5MP secondary sensor. Upfront, it will have an 8MP sensor for selfies. Connectivity features could include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 5.0, and GPS with GLONASS. Lastly, it is tipped to measure 253.75 x 165.30 x 6.24mm in dimensions.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra details
Along with the leaks of Galaxt Tab S8 have also details of the Tab S8 Ultra have leaked online. The leak comes from tipster OnLeaks and 91Mobiles, who have uploaded the specs and design renders of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra.
Samsung’s upcoming premium tablet will sport a large 14.6-inch display. In comparison, the Tab S8 and S8+ will have an 11-inch and a 12.4-inch display, respectively. The Ultra model has very slim bezels around the display. Samsung will go the Apple-way and introduce a notch on the Tab S8 Ultra. The notch will be on the right edge of the tablet for the front camera when held vertically.
There is no word on the front camera sensor details at the moment. On the back, the tablet has a pill-shaped camera module. It houses a dual-camera setup with an LED flash. It also has a magnetic strip below the camera module for the S Pen. The tablet has a quad-speaker setup. It also comes with a USB Type-C port. There is no 3.5mm headphone jack on the S8 Ultra. It t measures roughly 325.8 x 207.9 x 5.4mm. This makes it taller and slimmer than the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7+.
