Based on previous leaks, it is anticipated that the company will introduce both the Galaxy Tab A9 and Galaxy Tab A9+ models, featuring Snapdragon SoC processors. The pricing details for these tablets in the Indian market have been revealed by the renowned tipster @yabhishekhd.
According to information found in Samsung’s Product Price Announcement sheet, the Galaxy Tab A9 LTE version with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage will be priced at ₹15,999, while the WiFi model will come in at ₹12,999. As for the Samsung Galaxy Tab A9+ Wi-Fi model, the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant is expected to retail for ₹18,999, with the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage model available for ₹20,999. Additionally, the LTE version with 4GB RAM + 64GB storage is set to be priced at ₹22,999, and the 8GB RAM variant will be offered at ₹24,999. Subsequently, the same tipster has also unveiled the first image of the Galaxy Tab A9.
Samsung Galaxy Tab A9 and Galaxy Tab A9+ Expected Specs
Samsung Galaxy Tab A9 and Galaxy Tab A9+ are highly anticipated. The Samsung Galaxy Tab A9+ has already made appearances in various certifications and leaks, including its listing on Google Play Console. It is expected to feature the Snapdragon 695 processor with 2 ARM Cortex-A78 cores, a display resolution of 1200 x 1920, a 7040 mAh battery with 15W fast charging, and support for dual-band WiFi, as per FCC documents.
On the other hand, the standard Galaxy Tab A9 variant has not yet appeared on Play Console but has been spotted on Geekbench, revealing certain key specifications. It appears to be equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity Helio G99 chipset, and 4GB of RAM, and it runs on OneUI 5.1 based on Android 13.
According to FCC documentation, it has dimensions of 210.7mm x 124.7mm x 6.94mm and is powered by a 5000 mAh battery with 15W fast charging. Given the accumulation of past leaks and certification sightings, the launch of the Galaxy Tab A series appears to be on the horizon and could be expected by the end of this year.
