Interesting speculation arose today regarding the emergence of a new model in the Samsung Galaxy F series. It is supposedly expected to be an entry-level model and Samsung has decided to launch it as the Galaxy F22 in an India exclusive launch.
A tweet from @_the_tech_guy revealed this and was confirmed by reporters at SamMobile. The question is if it will be released as Samsung Galaxy F22 or Samsung Galaxy A22? The Galaxy F22 has been spotted with the model number SM-E225F.
Samsung has not released many details pertaining to the F22 but if we were to believe that the Samsung Galaxy F22 will be rebranded as the Galaxy A22 then some of the specs had leaked out previously on benchmarking website Geekbench.
The Galaxy A22 will come with MediaTek’s Dimensity 700 processor, 6GB of RAM, and Android 11. It is speculated to feature a 6.5-inch display, a triple rear camera setup, an Infinity-U cutout, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. There are reports of the camera setup being a quad-camera with a 48MP primary sensor, an 8MP secondary sensor, and two, 2MP sensors which will impact the depth and macro photography.
The render spotted had a green color and its design was similar to that of F-series phones. The device is expected to launch in 2 variants, a 5G and a 4G variant. There is no official launch date as of yet. Samsung has rebranded its phones on multiple occasions with certain upgrades so it will not be a surprise if in fact Samsung Galaxy F22 and Galaxy A22 are two different models.
The F-series was launched by Samsung in India in a partnership along with Flipkart, the lineup consists of the Galaxy F41, Galaxy F62, Galaxy F02s, and the Galaxy F12.
