Samsung is said to be in the development phase of two new additions to the Samsung Galaxy A series, namely the A15 and A25. MySmartPrice previously unveiled renders of the anticipated Samsung Galaxy A25 5G, citing industry sources. Recently, SamInsider has disclosed marketing materials for the Galaxy A25 5G, specifically tailored for European markets. Notably, the support page for this device is already active on Samsung India’s website, signalling an imminent launch.
Earlier reports from MySmartPrice also included comprehensive specifications for the upcoming smartphone, with the device securing certifications from Singapore’s IMDA and South Korea’s Safety. The safety certification not only affirmed the device’s safety features but also disclosed details about the battery.
Expected Specifications of the Samsung Galaxy A25 5G
Leaked marketing materials align with previously revealed renders, showcasing a design featuring a waterdrop notch and noticeable bezels surrounding the 6.5-inch Super AMOLED display. The display boasts a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels, a refresh rate of 120Hz, and HDR10+ certification. The materials emphasize the device’s brightness and eye protection capabilities.
Powering the Samsung Galaxy A25 5G is an in-house Exynos 1280 chipset, crafted with a 5nm fabrication process. The chipset comprises two Cortex A78 cores at 2.4GHz, six Cortex A55 cores at 2.0GHz, and a Mali-G68 MP4 GPU. The smartphone runs on OneUI 6, based on Android 14, and is slated to receive four major OS upgrades and five years of security updates.
For memory and storage, the device is equipped with up to 8GB RAM and up to 256GB internal storage, expandable up to 1TB via a microSD card. The triple-rear camera setup includes a 50MP primary lens with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP macro sensor. The waterdrop notch accommodates a 13MP selfie camera.
The Galaxy A25 5G is backed by a robust 5000mAh battery with 25W wired fast charging support. The smartphone weighs 197 grams, has dimensions of 161 x 76.5 x 8.3 mm, and offers three color options. Notably, the 25W charging adapter needs to be purchased separately. The anticipated price range for the Samsung Galaxy A25 5G in Germany is expected to be between EUR 269 and EUR 289.
