Samsung Galaxy A05 visits the Google Supported Devices list and appears on Google Play Console

Samsung appears to have released a new smartphone, as shown by the listing it has on the Google Play Console. The Samsung Galaxy A05 has been seen leaving before by Brazil’s National Telecommunications Agency (Anatel). Live photos of the new Samsung Galaxy A05 smartphone surfaced online recently, showcasing its appearance. Some important details were recently made known via the device’s listing on the Google Play Console.

Samsung Galaxy A05’s rumored features

The Google Play Console page has pictures of the Galaxy A05’s front and back. According to a new hands-on leak, the phone has a front Infinity-U notch and large bezels on its HD+ screen.

Despite the lack of information regarding the display technology, given the Galaxy A04’s price range, we predict an upgrade from its LCD panel.

The Galaxy A04’s 6.5-inch PLS LCD display offers a 60Hz refresh rate, 720 x 1600 HD+ resolution, and a PLS LCD panel. The octa-core Helio P35 SoC, along with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, power this device. The smartphone includes a dual camera setup with a 50 MP back camera and a 5 MP front camera. It offers 4G VoLTE connectivity and a huge 5,000 mAh battery as well.

Moving on, the back features a glossy appearance and a series of thin vertical strips that span its breadth. However, the phone still has a stylish design and would have essentially looked like carbon fiber if a check box had been used instead.

The Samsung Galaxy A05 will include a MediaTek MT6769V/WY CPU, also known as the MediaTek Helio G85, according to the listing, which refers to performance. You might use up to 4GB of RAM with the Helio G85 CPU. The smartphone will additionally employ an ARM Mali G52 GPU. The listing was expanded to 720 x 1600. Android 13 could be added on top of it.
