Sai Pallavi to make Bollywood debut with Junaid Khan
There have been reports that Sai’s willpower is starring in Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana. The actress has supposedly been approached to play Goddess Sita opposite Ranbir Kapoor’s Lord Ram. While no official validation has come yet, Sai seems to have finalized another film for her debut.
A report in Bollywood Hungama states that Sai will be making her debut through Aamir Khan’s son, Junaid Khan. The young actor is already reportedly making his debut with a Yash Raj Films project. This marks his other film. A source close to the development revealed, “The training of Junaid’s untitled next has started. Sai Pallavi apparently will be the leading lady in the film. This resolve is Junaid’s next project after his YRF debut film. A Sunil Pandey administrative, the film is touted to be a love story.”
Junaid comes from a background of vast theatre experience. He has two years of theatre training at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. The kid also worked as an Assistant Director on PK. As for Sai, she is a renowned actress in the miserable South. She has worked in Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam language. Her famous works include Premam, Fida, Middle-Class Abbayi, Love Story, and Gargi.
Aamir Khan on Junaid’s debut
Earlier, in an interview, Aamir Bar near Junaid’s Bollywood debut. He said, “It is up to him (about making his film debut). He should lead his own life and make his own decisions. I don’t want to take it for him. I have left it all to him. He surely inclines the original world and photography. He is following his path; he has studied theatre. He is more attentive in theater than in pictures. I am allowing him to go and find his path. That’s how it would be. He is very bright”.
Also, Aamir Khan made it clear that if Junaid desires to venture into Bollywood as an actor, then he will have to follow the correct process and audition for roles.” If I feel there is something that I got and if he (Junaid) fits in, then only (I will troupe him)… He will have to go through a casting process. He hasn’t tried out for anything,” Aamir said.
