Variety shows love a good setup, and this one is a gift. Running Man has previewed its upcoming “EXchange” episode, and the guests come with some history attached: Apink’s Chorong and Girl’s Day’s Yura.

The Setup: Why These Two?
The preview opens with the show’s producing director (PD) explaining that both guests are “linked” to cast member Yang Se Chan, though in different ways, according to Soompi’s report.
| Guest | Connection to Yang Se Chan |
|---|---|
| Yura | Was swept up in a dating rumor with him |
| Chorong | He once named her as his ideal type |
Put the two together on one show with Yang Se Chan, and you have the makings of a comedy.
The Twist
At first, Yang Se Chan gets visibly excited, as he seems to find himself at the center of a love triangle. But the mood doesn’t last. Once the games begin, things take a decidedly unromantic turn, as the female guests unleash their competitive streaks and go all out.
That contrast is where the humor will likely come from: a flirty premise that turns into serious competition. It also suggests the guests may not be there to play along with the cast’s plans.
Why Fans Will Want to Tune In?
Running Man is known for pairing a simple concept with unpredictable guests, and this episode seems to fit that formula. Two well-known idol names, a playful backstory and a lineup of games make for an easy, fun watch. The preview doesn’t reveal which games or results are coming, so there’s plenty left to discover.
