Rooter Gears Up to Host India’s Biggest BGMI invitational eSports Tournament with a Massive Prize Pool of INR 15,00,000

  • 32 teams, including 24 Invited Teams and 8 Underdog Teams will participate in the series, and the top 16 teams to qualify for Rooter Pro Series Lan scheduled later in the year
  • Rooter will exclusively broadcast the series in 6 different languages
  • The teams will compete in three phases for a massive prize pool worth INR 15,00,000.

New Delhi, July 22, 2022: Rooter, the country’s biggest game and eSports streaming platform, is going to host a Battlegrounds Mobile India tournament, slated to be held from July 25th to August 3rd. The tournament will be a pathway for the teams to qualify for Rooter Pro Series Lan scheduled later in the year. Thirty-two top Indian teams, including twenty-four invited teams and eight underdog teams (qualified from ROOTER UNDERDOG SERIES 6.0, where 5000 teams played to get a slot), will face off in the 10-day tournament.

The Battlegrounds Mobile India is one of the most significant mobile game launches in history, with over 50 million downloads within a month. The #RoadToProSeriesLan tournament organised by Rooter will witness the teams combating each other in three phases for a massive prize pool worth INR 15,00,000. In the first phase (25th July- 28th July), 32 teams will compete against each other, of which 24 teams will qualify for the second phase (29th July- 1st Aug) and finally, 16 teams will be selected to compete in the final phase (2nd Aug – 3rd Aug). The entire event will be broadcasted in 6 different languages, which the viewers can stream exclusively on Rooter from 12pm to 5 pm.

Godlike Esports, OR Esports, Chemin Esports, Orangutan Gaming, Team Celtz, Revenge Esports, Godlike Girls, Rivalry, Enigma Gaming, Nigma Galaxy, IMPRNT ESPORTS, R Esports are few of the teams participating in the tournament. The BGMI invitational eSports tournament will be a compilation of 50 hours of premium-produced content to be streamed across Rooter.
