Rohit Sharma’s Scintillating Century: A Masterclass in Batting

Indian cricket fans have always been in awe of Rohit Sharma‘s batting prowess, but today he has achieved a new milestone that sets him apart from the rest. Rohit has become the first Indian cricketer to score a hundred in all three formats of the game as a captain. This is a testament to his versatility and the depth of his batting skills. Rohit Sharma’s recent century in the first Test match against Australia in Nagpur has earned him a special landmark in the world of cricket. This achievement put him on the same pedestal as some of the global cricketing greats like Babar Azam, Faf du Plessis and Tilakratne Dilshan.

Rohit Sharma has been in great form in the first Test match and his half-century in the first day of the match was impressive with a strike rate of over 80. His century on the second day of the match was a result of some great batting skills, although his strike rate did come down due to the fall of wickets at the other end of the pitch.

Rohit Sharma Makes History with a Century in All Three Formats as Captain

Former India head coach Ravi Shastri was impressed with Rohit’s batting on Day 1, stating that “When Rohit Sharma is batting, he won’t allow any bowler to settle. His form can dictate terms in this BGT, not just because of the runs he’ll get, but the pace at which he gets it. His record as an opening batsman is stunning.”

However, on Day 2, Rohit struggled to find a partner who would stick around for a long time. Despite the early departures of his fellow Indian batsmen, Rohit stood strong and reached his triple-digit score. Unfortunately, he didn’t have much support from his teammates as the Australian spinners, Tod Murphy and Nathan Lyon, took control of the game.
