Every chapter eventually closes. For Rocket Punch and Woollim Entertainment, that chapter just did. On August 6, Woollim confirmed that Suyun’s exclusive contract with the agency has ended, marking the final member of Rocket Punch to officially part ways with the label.
It’s a quiet but significant moment for K-pop fans who’ve followed the group since debut — the end of an era, closed out on mutual and amicable terms.

What Happened
Woollim Entertainment confirmed that Suyun’s exclusive contract had come to an end, following what the agency described as a long period of sincere discussions about her future direction. Both sides reportedly reached the decision together, choosing to respect each other’s paths going forward rather than continuing the partnership.
This news follows a similar exit back in December 2024, when the rest of Suyun’s Rocket Punch bandmates left Woollim after their own contracts expired. With her departure now official, every single member of Rocket Punch has left the agency that debuted them.
The Agency’s Statement
In its official announcement, Woollim expressed gratitude for Suyun’s dedication and hard work throughout her time with the company, wishing her well as she begins a new chapter. The label also thanked fans for their continued support, encouraging them to keep showing Suyun love as she moves forward independently.
What This Means Going Forward
With the full lineup now free of their original agency, speculation is likely to turn toward what’s next — whether that’s solo activities, a new agency signing, or a potential regrouping under independent management. It’s a familiar pattern in the K-pop industry, where contract cycles often lead multi-member groups toward new professional chapters once their initial exclusive terms wrap up.
For now, fans are left celebrating Suyun’s journey with Rocket Punch while looking ahead to what she does next.
