Reports say that Fitbit is currently working to embed the Google Voice Assistant to its products. As per 9to5Google, they found strings in the Fitbit app’s code that indicate towards this activity. It is also estimated, the Versa 2 will make the debut.

Google, earlier, completely denied to provide its voice assistant for the Fitbit devices. But it seems the mind of the search engine giant is changing slightly.

If the assumption comes true in the near future, an option for switching the voice assistant will be there on the users’ hand as in the Versa 2, Alexa already took its place. Users can take the service of only one assistant at a time.

Rather, which activities can be performed by commanding the Google Assistant in the Fitbit is also in suspense. From the trust on Google, we can expect more performable activities than Amazon Alexa. That means, if we can do more than weather report checking, timer setting, and smart home devices controlling, it will not be a surprise.

Point to note that, all this information as to estimated. None of the companies, either Google or Fitbit announced the news officially. Besides, the Google Assistant may come through any new devices as well.

For now, we just need to wait and observe. Till then, stay with us.
