Monster Hunter Rise Official Launch
The Xbox official Twitter account verified the information. This came after a message that has since been deleted from the official Xbox Twitter account in Germany, which also mentioned that Monster Hunter Rise would be available on Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass the next month. Currently, the game is only available for PC and Nintendo Switch.
These additional platforms will supposedly get the Sunbreak expansion in the spring of 2023. Monster Hunter Rise arrived on the PC in January of this year and on the Nintendo Switch in March of 2021. In June, the Sunbreak expansion was released.
As per the sources it claims that even though Monster Hunter: Rise is still a masterpiece on the Switch, the graphics and performance improvements make this PC port the only way to play one of the best games of the year.
About the Game
Based on the sources, Capcom states that the most recent game in the action RPG series, Monster Hunter Rise, sends players to Kamura Village, a vibrant and serene location that draws tourists with its distinct culture and cutting-edge hunting techniques.
Monster Hunter Rise maintains the same fundamental gameplay as the critically acclaimed prior Monster Hunter games. To face intimidating opponents, hunters must put on their armor and choose one of the 14 distinct weapon kinds.
Items cut from defeated enemies can be utilized to create special weapons and armor that boost a player’s chances of survival as they kill monsters and advance through the game. Hunters have the option of taking on these tasks alone or in cooperative online play with up to three other hunters.
Features in the Game
Capcom claims that with the addition of various fresh and intriguing mechanics for hunters to learn, Monster Hunter Rise advances the franchise. A “Wirebug” can be used to perform wire-based grappling movements while on the ground or in the air, giving hunting tactics and attacks a completely new degree of airborne flexibility.
The game also has the “Wyvern Riding” technology, which enables players to momentarily assume control of a monster and produce breathtaking battle scenes when on hunts.
Palamutes, customized “Canyne” companions that may be ridden, are another new hunting partner introduced in Hunter Rise. They give players new assault possibilities. The “Canyne” Palamute friends join the beloved “Felyne” Palicoes from the series in aiding players during hunts.
Furthermore, on Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5, Monster Hunter Rise’s customizable optimizations enable players to experience their adventure at 4K resolution and 60 frames per second. These platforms also support 3D audio for Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5. DualSense adaptable triggers will also be used by shielded and ranged weapons on the PlayStation 5. On January 20, 2023, Monster Hunter Rise will go on sale for $39.99 MSRP and is currently available for pre-order.
