Redmi began teasing the launch of the Redmi Turbo 4 earlier this month, and while the exact release date remains unconfirmed, the brand’s General Manager recently hinted at the timeline for the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro’s debut. The smartphone has now been revealed to feature a 2.5K resolution display, making it the first to hit the shelves alongside Qualcomm’s newly unveiled Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset.

Redmi Turbo 4 Pro with Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 and 2.5K Display to Launch Next Week in China

Redmi’s General Manager Thomas Wang announced in a Weibo post today that the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro will launch next week in China. The flagship variant will feature a 2.5K display and grids for impressive battery life, texture, and performance over the standard Redmi Turbo 4. According to Wang, the Redmi Turbo 4 will have configurations that are better than Ace and Neo.

According to leaks, the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro will be equipped with the newly launched Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 SoC, which will make it a world-first device to feature the 4nm octa-core chipset. The phone will have up to 24GB of LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.0 storage, and promises up to a 31% increase in CPU performance compared to the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3. The phone will reportedly feature a glass body with a metal frame, and the battery capacity will reportedly go beyond 7,000mAh. In global markets, it could be called the Poco F7.

The standard Redmi Turbo 4, which launched in January in China, is priced starting at CNY 1,999 (approximately ₹23,500) for the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage model. It features a 6.67-inch 1.5K OLED display, MediaTek Dimensity 8400-Ultra chipset, and a 50MP dual rear camera system, along with a 6,550mAh battery and 90W fast charging support.
