Redmi just dropped its next flagship contender, and it’s not holding back on any front. A Camera Setup Built for Range

The headline feature here is the triple rear camera system, which covers five distinct focal lengths — a genuinely versatile spread for a phone in this segment. The 200MP primary sensor comes with optical image stabilization, paired with a 50MP telephoto lens capable of 10cm macro shots for close-up detail work, and an 8MP ultra-wide for landscape and group shots. Up front, a 32MP selfie camera rounds out the package.

Battery and Charging That Punch Above Its Class

An 8,580mAh battery is a serious number for a phone this size, and Redmi isn’t stopping at raw capacity. The charging suite covers every angle: 100W wired charging for fast top-ups, 50W wireless for cable-free convenience, plus both wired (27W) and wireless (22.5W) reverse charging — meaning the K100 Pro can double as a power bank for your earbuds or another phone in a pinch.

The Chip Powering It All

Under the hood sits a custom Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5V Series chipset, Qualcomm’s tuned flagship silicon built specifically for devices like this. Combined with HyperOS 3 running on top of Android 16, the K100 Pro is positioned as a proper 2026-generation flagship rather than a mid-cycle refresh.

Pricing and Availability

The base 12GB+256GB variant launches at CNY 3,699, which converts to roughly ₹52,400. As with most Redmi and Xiaomi launches, China gets first access, and there’s no confirmation yet on whether the K100 Pro will make its way to India or other global markets — historically, some K-series phones arrive internationally under the Poco brand instead. You can check full specs and regional availability on Xiaomi’s official global site as more details emerge.

Bottom Line

The Redmi K100 Pro is a genuinely loaded flagship on paper — a fast display, versatile cameras, and best-in-class charging speeds at a price that undercuts most Western flagships. Whether it reaches India remains the open question, but if it does, expect it to shake up the upper-mid-range and flagship-adjacent segments alike.
