Realme will customize ColorOS 7 exclusively for its smartphones

Realme is now the fastest-growing smartphone brand in India and now is aiming to have double-digit smartphone share in the country. The Oppo sub-brand has seen substantial growth in just a year, launching a wide range of devices in India, from ultra-low budget to mid-range.

Oppo and Realme separated within months of its establishment giving it more freedom to work for the youth-specific consumers. Oppo has seen huge growth in revenue by applying a two brand strategy, Realme focussing on quality budget devices and Oppo setting new benchmarks in the premium segment of smartphones.

Recently, Realme has achieved 17 million consumers globally in such a short span of time. Although two of the brands work separate but still Realme borrows a lot of resources from its parent brand Oppo, a major one being the OS i.e. the ColorOS.

We had some reports and leaks suggesting that the brand is working on developing its own RealmeOS. Also, reports came out that the name was also been trademarked which hinted a possibility of a new custom OS by Realme for its wide amount of youth fans.
