Realme has launched the Realme 9 SE 5G smartphone in India and has added yet another device to the lineup of the Realme 9i, Realme 9 Pro, and Realme 9 Pro Plus. With the launch of this new device, the brand has a device with the ‘SE’ suffix that seems to be getting very popular by the day. The company has also confirmed that SE stands for Speed Edition.
Like the Realme 9, the SE variant uses the new Starlight Texture Design language and has a 6.6″ Full HD+ IPS LCD display with a DCI-P3 color gamut, a screen-to-body ratio of 90.8%, and a peak brightness of 600 nits. The device has a refresh rate of 144Hz.
The Realme 9 SE is powered by the Snapdragon 778G chip and it comes with the Qualcomm AI Engine that enables AI performance up to 12 TOPS and also has the Snapdragon Elite Gaming with variable-rate shading for better low latency.
The Realme 9 SE runs Android 12 OS with Realme UI 3.0 on top and is juiced by a 5,000mAh battery with support for 30W dart charging technology.
In the optics department, there is a triple camera setup with a 48MP primary sensor, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP macro sensor. On the front, you get a 16MP selfie shooter.
The Realme 9 SE 5G comes in Starry Glow and Azure Glow color variants, the 6GB+128GB variant is priced at 19,999 INR while the 8GB+128GB variant is priced at 22,999 INR. The device will go on sale from the 14th of March in India via Realme’s official site, and other authorized retailers.
