Real Betis going all-in to sign Isco for free at the end of the 2021-22 season

Real Madrid attacking midfielder Isco is in talks with Real Betis over a transfer this summer. The player is out of a contract with Real Madrid at the end of the season and will be allowed to leave as a free agent.

Real Betis are willing to make Isco the best-paid player in their squad to seal his transfer. They are offering him a deal worth €20 million over the next two seasons, and this fee includes a signing-on bonus with the club. There will also be extra bonuses for Champions League qualification, if they can finish in the top four this season.

Real Betis want to sign Isco this summer

Manuel Pellegrini wants the 30-year-old to be a part of his project with the Seville-based club. But, Isco has his eyes set on Champions League football even after leaving Real Madrid.

While Betis are guaranteed a spot in the Europa League next season owing to their Copa del Rey win, they need to fight against Atletico Madrid to make it to the top four. They are four points behind the Rojiblancos, and will need to achieve a strong finish in their last five games to trouble Diego Simeone’s side.

Isco has been a part of some very memorable moments in Real Madrid history over the last decade. While his role in the squad has diminished in recent years, his contributions have always been appreciated by the fans of the club.
