What Is the “Raw and Undekha” Version?
This is the detail that sets this OTT premiere apart from a standard streaming drop. JioHotstar will stream Dhurandhar The Revenge in its original, unfiltered form — delivering the full intensity, scale, and storytelling that the theatrical cut may have slightly trimmed for runtime or certification reasons. For audiences who already saw it in cinemas and loved it, this is a compelling reason to watch again. For those who missed it on the big screen, this is arguably the best version to catch first.
Alok Jain, Head of Hindi & English Entertainment Business at JioStar, described the ambition clearly — the goal is to transform this into a large-scale cultural viewing moment, not just another streaming premiere.
What Happens on June 4?
The grand digital premiere on June 4 kicks off with an exclusive 30-minute pre-show that fans won’t want to skip. It features candid cast conversations, behind-the-scenes stories, fun moments from the set, and insights into how the film came together — including reportedly how Ranveer Singh shot a major blast sequence near 500 litres of petrol. From June 5 onwards, the film becomes available for all JioHotstar subscribers to stream at their convenience.
Director Aditya Dhar, who also wrote and produced the film alongside Jyoti Deshpande and Lokesh Dhar, expressed genuine excitement about bringing the movie to home audiences, emphasising that the film’s identity is rooted in scale, intensity, and emotion — qualities that the Raw and Undekha version is designed to fully deliver.
