Raja Shivaji — Key Details

Star-Studded Cast Revealed in Teaser

The teaser didn’t just give us Riteish in a commanding, regal avatar — it unveiled the first looks of a jaw-dropping ensemble cast. Here’s everyone who appeared:

This is genuinely one of the most stacked casts Bollywood has assembled for a period film. The fact that both Sanjay Dutt and Abhishek Bachchan appear in the same teaser — alongside Vidya Balan — tells you Riteish has gone all-in on scale and gravitas.

Why This Film Matters

For Riteish Deshmukh, Raja Shivaji is clearly a deeply personal project. As a Maharashtrian actor who has spent years in mainstream Hindi cinema — mostly in comedic roles — this is his bold, definitive statement as a filmmaker. The film’s storyline centres on Shivaji Maharaj rising against formidable powers to lay the foundation of Swarajya — a theme of resistance, courage, and justice that resonates far beyond Maharashtra.

The teaser’s visuals suggest large-scale battle sequences, rich period production design, and an emotional core built around Shivaji’s legendary leadership. Keep an eye on our latest Bollywood film updates on TechnoSports for release date announcements and trailers as they drop.
