Fans of Raj Anadkat, famously known for his portrayal of Tappu in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, have a massive reason to celebrate. After a brief hiatus from the television screen, the actor is officially making his comeback. However, this time, he isn’t returning to Gokuldham society but is stepping into a lead role in an upcoming project on Sony SAB, reportedly replacing actor Avinash Mishra.

Raj Anadkat’s Big Shift: From Tappu to Leading Man

The buzz surrounding Raj Anadkat’s return has been building for months. According to recent reports, Raj has been finalized for a new show produced by Inspire Films. What makes this comeback even more intriguing is that he is stepping into a role previously linked to Avinash Mishra.

Raj will be paired alongside the talented Khushi Dubey, creating a fresh on-screen duo that has already sparked excitement across social media platforms. For Raj, this transition from a character-driven comedy role to a lead protagonist marks a significant milestone in his acting career.

Why This Comeback Matters?

Since leaving Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah in 2022, Raj focused heavily on his digital presence and music videos. His return to the Taarak Mehta universe might be off the table for now, but his new venture on the same home channel (Sony SAB) suggests he is ready to take on more mature and versatile characters.

This move is seen as a strategic step to break out of his “child actor” image and establish himself as a dependable lead in daily soaps.
