That’s right — King is the rapper making his acting debut, and the series was brought to Prime Video by two first-time writers who are also its creators. That kind of raw, fresh energy is exactly what makes this show stand out from the crowd.

Why This Show Has Everyone Talking

Lukkhe isn’t just another crime drama. It sits at the intersection of sport, street rap, and drug crime — a combination Indian OTT has never really explored. Prime Video India’s head of originals has already described it as “an extremely exciting show,” with both creators and the platform already in conversations about future collaborations.

The show was officially revealed as part of Prime Video’s biggest-ever Indian Originals slate, announced at the ‘Prime Video Presents 2026’ showcase, which featured close to 55 series and movies. www.mykollywood.com You can read the official Prime Video India announcement here.
