What’s New in 2026?

Dual-Season PMGO Format

The competitive roadmap has been refreshed with two full seasons of PMGO, replacing the previous Super League structure. This change doubles opportunities for teams to accumulate championship points throughout the year.

Expanded National Championships

Over 30 National Championships (PMNCs) will run across 8+ regions, democratizing access for emerging talent. Winners progress to regional qualifiers, then compete for coveted PMGO spots—creating a clearer path from amateur to professional competition.

Point-Based Qualification System

Teams earn PMGC points across both PMGO seasons, PMWC, and qualifying events. This cumulative system rewards consistent performance throughout the year rather than single-tournament success.

Enhanced Player & Fan Experience

In-Game Improvements: Streamlined registration and tournament schedules directly within the app.

Offline Events: More LAN experiences, fan meet-and-greets, and interactive stage shows planned.

Third-Party Support: Expanded backing for community-hosted tournaments strengthens the ecosystem.
