Prithvi Shaw and Akriti Agarwal Call Off Engagement Just Months After Their Viral Ceremony

Cricketer Prithvi Shaw and influencer-actor Akriti Agarwal have officially ended their engagement, just months after their relationship went viral online. Akriti confirmed the split herself on Instagram, sharing a heartfelt note explaining that the decision was mutual, rooted in differing goals and personal circumstances rather than any dramatic falling out.

In her message, Akriti expressed that despite the love and care between them, both had come to accept that their paths weren’t meant to align long-term. She was clear that the split wasn’t sudden or bitter, emphasizing that current responsibilities and life circumstances played a major role in the decision, and wished Prithvi nothing but peace moving forward.

Akriti also made a point of addressing the public narrative directly, asking fans and media outlets to avoid framing the breakup negatively and requesting privacy as they navigate this transition. She specifically discouraged speculation about the reasons behind the split.
