Pre-Order Modern Warfare 4 Now And Unlock A Weapon Blueprint You Actually Want

Pre-order bonuses can be hit or miss, but this one’s worth paying attention to. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 just confirmed its latest pre-order incentive — the “Inner Circuit” M4 Weapon Blueprint — and it comes with a genuinely clever twist depending on which platform you play on.

Here’s everything you need to know before you decide to lock in your pre-order.

What You Actually Get in Modern Warfare 4?

Pre-order any digital edition of Modern Warfare 4, and the Inner Circuit M4 Blueprint arrives fully equipped and ready to use from day one — no grinding required.

Modern Warfare 4: Two Looks, Same Weapon

The standout detail here is the platform-exclusive visual treatment. Xbox Series X|S players get a translucent OG Green design that pays homage to classic transparent Xbox hardware, exposing the weapon’s internal build as part of its aesthetic. Everyone else — PS5, Steam, Battle.net, Switch 2, and Xbox on PC — gets the same blueprint in a mil-spec visual style instead.

Importantly, this is purely cosmetic. Both versions use identical attachments and perform exactly the same in combat. If you’re on PC facing off against an Xbox player, you’ll see their mil-spec version even though they’re seeing the OG Green skin themselves — the treatment is tied to platform, not selectable by choice.

Gunsmith Breakdown

The Inner Circuit build comes pre-loaded with five attachments optimized for close-to-mid-range combat and fast mobility:

• 11.5″ Shortline Barrel – improves handling, trades off recoil control and range
• FTAC Dominion Muzzle – reduces vertical and horizontal recoil
• FSS Fireline Grip – steadies aim tracking
• SZ Prima-4 Dot Optic – clean, slim sight picture
• ZLR ASP50 Stock – lighter weight, faster movement

This setup is built for aggressive, mobile playstyles — ideal for rushing objectives or pairing with a sniper loadout as your secondary.

Modern Warfare 4 continues the long-running Call of Duty franchise’s tradition of pre-order weapon incentives, a marketing approach widely used across the modern first-person shooter genre. You can read more about the franchise’s history on Wikipedia’s Call of Duty page.

Modern Warfare 4 launches globally on October 23, 2026, developed by Infinity Ward across Xbox Series X|S, PS5, and PC via Battle.net, Steam, and Xbox on PC, with a native Switch 2 version in partnership with Digital Legends.
