POCO F7 Leaks on BIS Certification, POCO X7 Secures NBTC Approval Ahead of Launch
On the BIS certification, a POCO smartphone was spotted with model number 2412DPC0AI, hinting that it might launch very soon in the Indian market. It is expected to be the POCO F7, as per information listed on the IMEI database against this model number. However, besides the model number, the BIS listing reveals no further details.
The POCO F7 also popped up on Singapore’s IMDA certification earlier, where it was revealed to feature NFC connectivity in addition to Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and 5G mobile connectivity. Other leaks suggest that the upcoming POCO F7 will utilize the MediaTek Dimensity 8400 chipset, 1.5K OLED panel, and a huge 6,000mAh (or higher) battery. It is also expected to support 90W fast charging which will bring direct competition to the mid-range segment with strong fast-charging capabilities.
The F7 by POCO was not the only device that made an appearance at NBTC, as the certification also mentioned a second device with model number 24095PCADG that should be introduced as the POCO X7. This certification confirms that the POCO X7 will support a wide range of connectivity options, including GSM, WCDMA, LTE, and NR (5G) connectivity.
There are speculations that the POCO X7 will be a rebranded version of the Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G, which is already available in certain markets. If this turns out to be true, it could mean that the POCO X7 will inherit many of the features and specifications of the Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G.
With these certifications confirming the upcoming devices, more details are likely to surface in the coming weeks. As the launch draws closer, expectations are high for both the POCO F7 and POCO X7, which are expected to compete strongly in the mid-range smartphone market with powerful features and competitive pricing.
