One notable addition is a graphite film that has been incorporated into the phone’s design to aid in heat transfer. This feature is paired with a wireless charging coil that provides additional convenience to users. In addition to this, Google’s suppliers have added a significant number of copper pads to several components of the phone to help with heat dissipation.

This move is especially crucial, considering that the Pixel 7a is rumored to be powered by Google’s Tensor G2 chip, which is expected to be a high-performance processor. It is essential to maintain an optimal temperature to prevent damage to the device’s sensitive components and ensure maximum performance.

Google has not yet announced an official release date for the Pixel 7a, but the recent teardown video indicates that the device is in the final stages of development. With the upgraded cameras, large battery, and efficient heat dissipation system, the Pixel 7a promises to be an exciting addition to the Pixel lineup.
