On the occasion of his 40th birthday, Ram Charan’s 16th film received an official title—Peddi. Previously referred to as RC16, the movie is helmed by Buchi Babu Sana, who unveiled the first-look posters on X (formerly Twitter).

With an intense and rustic transformation, Ram Charan promises an electrifying performance in this highly anticipated venture.
Ram Charan’s Fierce Transformation in Peddi
The first-look posters present Ram Charan in a rugged and untamed persona. His appearance—unruly hair, thick beard, piercing gaze, and a nose ring—signals a power-packed role. The visuals capture a raw and intense vibe, hinting at a gripping narrative.

One poster showcases him wearing a striped red outfit, exuding dominance while smoking a cigar. The second poster depicts him holding a weathered cricket bat, standing on a dusty ground with floodlights illuminating a rustic stadium. The imagery hints at a gripping sports drama intertwined with deep-rooted emotions.
Director Buchi Babu Sana shared the posters with a heartfelt message, saying, “Happy Birthday my Dear @AlwaysRamCharan Sir..In one word you are Gold Sir. Tqq for everything Sir.”
Star-Studded Cast & Creative Team
Apart from Ram Charan, Peddi boasts a stellar ensemble, including veteran Kannada actor Shiva Rajkumar, Bollywood star Janhvi Kapoor, seasoned performer Jagapathi Babu, and talented actor Divyendu Sharma.

The film is crafted under the banners of Vriddhi Cinemas, Mythri Movie Makers, and Sukumar Writings, ensuring a high production value.

Ram Charan’s Journey from Game Changer to Peddi
Ram Charan was last seen in Game Changer, which failed to make an impact at the box office. Despite its grand scale and the presence of Kiara Advani, the S. Shankar directorial struggled commercially. However, Game Changer has now found an audience on Prime Video, streaming in Telugu with Tamil and Kannada dubs.

With Peddi, Ram Charan looks set for a striking comeback, embracing an entirely new character that blends intensity and action. Given Buchi Babu Sana’s storytelling expertise and AR Rahman’s musical brilliance, the film is shaping up to be a cinematic extravaganza.
