Anime fans, this is the catch-up you’ve been waiting for. Crunchyroll has officially acquired 【OSHI NO KO】 Seasons 1 and 2, with Season 1 streaming now and Season 2 arriving this Spring — just in time to get fully up to speed as Season 3 continues its weekly simulcast run.
Oshi no Ko on Crunchyroll: What’s Available When
| Season | Status | Subtitles | Dub |
|---|---|---|---|
| Season 1 | Streaming Now | Newly prepared (select languages) + more coming Spring | English dub available at launch |
| Season 2 | Arriving Spring 2026 | Localisations rolling out through Spring | TBC |
| Season 3 | Weekly simulcast — ongoing | Yes | TBC |
Why This Is a Big Deal for Anime Fans
Oshi no Ko isn’t just popular — it’s one of the most acclaimed anime series of the decade, based on the award-winning manga by Aka Akasaka (Kaguya-sama: Love is War) and illustrated by Mengo Yokoyari. The story follows Dr. Gorou Amemiya, who is reborn as the child of his favourite pop idol after being murdered — and grows up determined to uncover the dark truths behind the entertainment industry.
Crunchyroll worked in collaboration with HIDIVE to bring both seasons to the platform, with newly prepared subtitles for select languages and an English dub available from day one. Season 3 is already midway through its weekly run — with B-Komachi on the verge of their big break, Aqua navigating multi-platform stardom, and Ruby rising through the industry using deception as her weapon of choice.
This acquisition means new viewers can now start from the very beginning without needing multiple platforms, and watch straight through to the current season in one place.
