At the end of September, details about the Oppo Reno7 Series emerged from a reliable tipster. A few days later, the same source has shed some details on the device’s camera system.
The tipster Digital Chat Station was the one that shared some information about the Oppo Reno7 Series. Today, the tipster is back again with more details.
According to the tipster, the Oppo Reno7 Series will have large-sized camera sensors. He specifically mentions that the vanilla Oppo Reno7 will come with a 50MP Sony IMX766 primary sensor that measures 1/1.56″ in size.
For those unaware, the current-gen Oppo Reno6, as well as the Oppo Reno6 Pro, features a comparatively inferior 64MP Omnivision OV 64B main sensor which has a smaller size of 1/2″.
Previously, the leaker had revealed that the standard Oppo Reno 7 will feature a metal frame and a punch-hole setup on the top left corner like its predecessor.
He also mentioned that it will have a triple-camera setup with a notification LED ring as well.
As per the tipster, the Oppo Reno7 will compete with the yet-to-release Vivo S12.
