Geekbench results for the device (model number OPD2515) confirm a single-core score of 2,762 and a multi-core score of 9,037, placing it firmly in flagship performance territory.

According to Gizmochina, single-core performance sits around 14% lower than the top-tier Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 — but in practical use, that gap is unlikely to be noticeable for gaming, streaming, or everyday tasks. The Geekbench listing also confirms Android 16 and 12GB of RAM out of the box.

Notably, as NotebookCheck points out, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 inside the Pad Mini is approximately 30% faster than Apple’s A17 Pro chip found in the current iPad mini — a significant benchmark advantage.

For those who want raw power and maximum screen real estate, the Oppo Pad 5 Pro is the answer. According to a China Telecom listing reported by Gizmochina, the Pad 5 Pro is set to launch on April 21 alongside the Find X9 Ultra, Find X9s Pro, Pad Mini, and Enco R5.

The Pad 5 Pro is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 — the same top-tier chip found in the Find X9 Ultra — delivering approximately 20% faster CPU performance compared to its predecessor. This places the Pad 5 Pro firmly in the most premium tier of Android tablets available anywhere.

The China Telecom listing reveals a 13,380 mAh battery with an estimated full charge time of around 120 minutes, suggesting 80W fast charging support. The tablet will be available in multiple configurations — 8GB+256GB, 12GB+256GB, 12GB+512GB, and 16GB+512GB — and will come in three colour options: Dawn Gold, Mocha Brown, and Monet Purple.
