What OPPO and MediaTek Actually Showed
Powered by the Dimensity 9500 platform, OPPO’s on-device AI Translate achieves an average 15% improvement in accuracy over conventional approaches, supports seamless multilingual translation, and maintains stable output without internet connectivity or under weak signal conditions. That’s a meaningful real-world advantage for travellers and users in areas with patchy connectivity.
The on-device AI Portrait Glow intelligently analyses and reconstructs scene illumination to improve portraits in dim or backlit conditions while maintaining natural rendering — all without network reliance. Both features are heading to the Find X9 series via the upcoming ColorOS 16 update.

The Omni Model technology preview supports voice, video, and text inputs, enabling live scene understanding and interactive Q&A directly on a smartphone — strengthening on-device AI’s ability to perceive and interpret the physical world for more proactive and natural human-computer interaction.
Coming in March, OPPO’s Find X9 series will also bring Android Quick Share support — enabling file transfers between OPPO smartphones and iOS, iPadOS, and macOS devices without third-party apps, developed in close collaboration with MediaTek and Google.
