Oppo is expected to introduce its 2024 Find X8 series to the market, where they have been able to keep up with most smartphones regarding advancements in camera technology and features.

The Find X8 Pro has the thinnest bezels, a wide main sensor with a quad 50MP camera setup, and a dual periscope zoom that is exclusive to any other brand, moreover, it will continue to work with an array of wireless charging solutions thanks to its newly integrated 50W magnetic charging, expanding on Apple’s MagSafe concept.

Leaks About the Oppo Find X8 Pro

The Oppo Find X8 Pro features a 6.8-inch quad-curved display with a 120Hz refresh rate and is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400. The camera setup features a 50MP main sensor, 50MP ultra-wide, 50MP 3x telephoto, and 50MP 6x telephoto lenses, along with a 32MP front camera. The phone is powered by ColorOS 15 based on Android 15 and has a camera control button, an alert slider, IP68 water resistance, and a 5,800mAh battery with 80W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.

A few standout elements in the Find X8 Pro’s specs, as leaked by Yogesh Brar, include the dual periscope zoom camera—a feature previously seen only on the Find X7 Ultra. This time around, even the Find X8 Pro will feature the same system developed by OPPO — as a result, there is quite a buzz in the rumor mill regarding a potential 10x periscope zoom on the flagship called Find X8 Ultra.

Also onboard is a huge 5,800mAh battery that was made possible with new battery cell technology which increases the amount of energy density inside each cell without increasing the overall footprint beyond previous 5,000mAh offerings. Oppo is claiming that the new device will arrive with a physical camera button similar to the iPhone 16 line and MagSafe-like magnetic wireless charging, which it will sell alongside a range of magnetic accessories including slim cases, power banks, and 50W magnetic chargers.

The research from Oppo notes that there is an ‘upward trend in demand for wireless charging solutions that is not restricted to newer forms of electric and traditional transportation, but also includes owners of legacy vehicle models purchasing wireless charging pads to charge their phones whilst driving without the inconvenience associated with wired solutions conversion.
