The Find X8 series, which consists of the standard OPPO Find X8 and the Find X8 Pro, is tipped to release in China soon. While the company has not shared an official release date, it is listed on the BIS certification site (standard variant) which could mean an imminent launch in India.
As per reports, the OPPO Find X8 Pro debut in India is looming closer. The smartphone has also been seen on the Indonesia SDPPI certification site. This suggests that the Find X8 will be the successor to last year’s Find X7 series, and today, OPPO has released some software features for the upcoming phones.
The Leaks Around Oppo Find X8
According to TheTechOutlook, the new OPPO Find X8 bearing the model number CPH2651 was recently listed on the BIS and SDPPI certification websites. The listings allude to an India and Indonesia launch but offer little detail concerning the features or even specifications. Through Weibo, a company official shared two key security features of the upcoming OPPO Find X8.
One, it has an IR blaster allowing you can control a bunch of gadgets by shooting infrared signals at them. The second is an NFC smart card cutting feature, allowing seamless access to NFC-enabled cards. This helps improve the user experience and allows users to easily toggle between different NFC access cards depending on their location.
Additional features may include reverse charging and 50W wireless charging, according to recent rumors. It would be then safe to presume that the new model may fit a 6.5-inch 1.5K high-resolution screen flat display for stunning visuals in contrast with the Find X7’s larger curved panel. It is expected to be fueled by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 SoC, which will also underpin the Pro model.
As per the Geekbench listings, the OPPO Find X8 could feature 16GB of RAM and will support three 50MP cameras on the back with a single front camera at 32MP. The new model is rumored to feature an upgraded battery compared to the OPPO Find X7’s 5,000mAh capacity, along with 80W wired and 50W wireless charging support.
