OPPO is preparing to launch the Find N5 foldable phone globally on February 20, with expectations that it will debut internationally as the OnePlus Open 2. For several weeks now the company has been teasing major specifications of the device, and as we get closer to launch, additional details have leaked, including its battery size and AI capabilities. The foldable has already been spotted in an unboxing video that has popped up on YouTube.

OPPO Find N5 Unboxing Video Reveals Battery, AI Features, and Design; Global Launch Set for February 20

The Snapdragon 8 Elite processor will power the OPPO Find N5, making it the first foldable to use this SoC. It will have a 5,600mAh battery — the biggest in any foldable phone so far. By comparison, the previous-gen Find N3 comes with a 4,805mAh battery. While introducing the world’s thinnest foldable for the Find N5, it has not divulged its exact dimensions, but the device is clad in a larger battery. According to OPPO, the Find N5 can record 1080p video for 4.2 hours in extreme cold (-15°C), stream videos for 24 hours, and handle online meetings for 18.47 hours.

It will also integrate DeepSeek-R1 AI, enabling online searches, image generation, and local file exports. A new unboxing video from YouTuber GeekCulture showcases the Find N5 in Misty White, one of the two confirmed colors alongside Cosmic Black. The package includes a USB-A to USB-C cable, a Type-G plug, and a faux leather case. When the internal screen is powered on, the folding crease is barely visible. The device retains Hasselblad-branded cameras positioned in a circular module.

Earlier teasers confirmed that the Find N5 will feature IPX9 certification, 50W wireless charging, and a 3D titanium alloy hinge. In China, it will also launch in a Twilight Purple variant. A pre-order listing on OPPO’s website reveals three storage options: 12GB + 256GB, 16GB + 512GB, and 16GB + 1TB. The OnePlus Open 2 is expected to share most of the Find N5’s specifications, with minor differences. Their predecessors launched at CNY 9,999 (~₹1,45,395) / ₹1,39,999.
